Lowie (Low Impact) Bricks launched a research and development programme in 2019 to find sustainable and affordable alternatives to traditional facing bricks. By experimenting extensively with different materials, Lowie Bricks managed to preserve the aesthetic and qualitative characteristics of ceramic bricks and is now launching the Lowie Hybrid Brick with an 80% CO2 reduction compared to ceramic facing bricks.
Group Roussel is a Belgian family company (4th generation) headquartered in Menen. The group of companies produces innovative building materials for niche markets within the construction industry. Quality, sustainability and family values are at the heart of our operation.

Olivier Bricks is a pioneer in the refinement of facing bricks via coating and drumming.

For the Olivier and Lowie Bricks production sites, we are looking for a:
PLANT MANAGER
JOB DESCRIPTION
As Plant Manager, you will manage the production units in Menen and Izegem. You are responsible for the daily organisation and continuous optimisation of the processes.

You manage and organise the daily operation of the two production sites.

You guarantee a safe, qualitative and efficient production process (safety, productivity, quality, storage and environment).

You analyse the operation and initiate improvement processes to further increase efficiency.

You coach, evaluate and develop your employees with skills matrices, training plans and targeted recruitment, among other things.

You support and guide the production managers in their daily operations.

You report to the management based on KPIs and concrete improvement actions.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
-
Higher education in a technical field (e.g. industrial engineer, process technology, engineering).
-
Experience in an industrial production environment with an affinity for mechanics.

Strong in organisation, analysis and change management.

Coaching leader with clear communication and a committed approach.
-
Driven by optimisation and continuous improvement.

You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French.
